Reviwers Guidlines

Reviwers Guidlines

Reviewers are vital to CJMS’s quality. Responsibilities include:

  • Expert, Impartial Feedback: Provide objective, evidence-based evaluations, focusing on the manuscript’s originality, validity, and significance. Feedback should be professional, clear, and respectful.
  • Confidentiality: Treat all manuscripts and communications as strictly confidential. Do not share or cite content before publication.
  • Timeliness: Accept review invitations only if you can complete within ~2–4 weeks. If unable, decline promptly, suggesting alternative reviewers if possible.
  • Conflict Disclosure: Decline or recuse yourself if any conflict of interest (personal, financial, competitive) could bias your review, and inform the editor immediately.
  • Integrity: Report any detected misconduct (plagiarism, data issues) to the editors. Reviews should guide authors to improve clarity and validity, not criticize personal attributes.

We encourage constructive criticism. Review reports should be structured (summary, major issues, minor issues, recommendation) to help authors revise their work effectively. Reviewers remain anonymous unless they choose to sign their review.
