Conferences

CJMS supports the advancement of Business Research scholarship through academic conferences. The journal collaborates with scholarly societies and institutions to co-sponsor conferences and symposia in relevant fields. These events foster community engagement, networking, and dissemination of research. CJMS may feature conference announcements or calls for papers on its website. Selected top papers from partner conferences can be fast-tracked for publication (see Conference Publication below). Involvement in conferences allows authors to benefit from both presentation feedback and journal publication opportunities.

Conference Proposal

Researchers and organizers interested in partnering with CJMS for a conference should submit a formal proposal to the editorial office. Proposals should include the conference theme, objectives, planned dates, location (physical or virtual), expected audience, and organizing committee. Proposed events should align with CJMS’s scope in the Business Researchs. CJMS can provide promotion, webpage hosting, and assistance with publication plans for accepted papers. After review by the editorial board, suitable proposals may be approved for official CJMS affiliation, which includes use of our branding and coordination of a special issue for peer-reviewed proceedings.

Conference Publication

CJMS offers conference proceedings publication for high-quality events. Selected papers presented at an affiliated conference can be submitted to CJMS as a special issue. These papers must undergo the regular CJMS peer review process for quality and consistency. If accepted, they are published in a designated conference issue, indexed normally and assigned DOIs. This provides conference authors with the benefits of journal publication (indexing, open access, and citation). We encourage conference organizers to inform presenters of this opportunity. All conference papers in CJMS will be clearly marked as a special issue and listed under the Conferences section of our archives.
