Revenue Source
As an open-access journal, CJMS operates on transparent financial support. Our primary revenue sources include:
- Article Processing Charges (APCs): Authors are charged a modest fee upon acceptance to cover editorial, production, and archiving costs. Fee waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries or academic institutions with limited funding. Detailed APC information is provided on the Fees & Waivers page.
- Institutional Funding: CJMS is supported by the CELT Educational Consultancy Centre. Portions of publication costs are subsidized by this sponsoring institution.
- Advertising and Sponsorship: We may receive funds from scholarly societies, foundations, or relevant academic advertisers. All sponsored content is clearly labeled to avoid conflicts of interest.
- No Reader Fees: CJMS does not charge subscription or access fees. All content is free to read.
All revenue sources are managed independently of editorial decisions, ensuring that publication decisions are based solely on scholarly merit.
